The Ground Rules here at Beachwood Resort

All fees are in Canadian dollars and are plus 13% hst.

Reservations, deposits, cancellations, check in, check out times:
To reserve, a deposit of 50% per unit is required upon booking
Check in time begins at 3 p.m.
Check out time – Spring, Fall and Winter is 11 a.m., Summer is 10 a.m.

Cancellation/Refund Policy – A deposit is required (per unit) for all reservations and is to be considered as applying to the final days of the reservation. Deposit is refundable if advised 60 days prior to arrival. A $100 administration fee per unit applies to all refunds.

No shows: Guests that fail to cancel or show up for their reservation, will be charged the full amount to the credit card on file.

While every attempt is be made to honour specific unit requests, we reserve the right to re-assign guests to accommodations of a comparable type at our discretion and without notice.

All people, regardless of age, count towards the total occupancy allowed per unit.

Beachwood reserves the right to limit the number of guests to occupy a unit. If there are more people than the limited number, guests will need to rent additional units, or leave, no refunds will apply.

Day visitors/passes are not available. Only registered guests are allowed to use the facilities and property.

Each unit is set up to accommodate a maximum number of guests for sleeping, meal preparation and dining (for example – 3 bedroom cottage – 6 people). The self catering units are not suitable for entertaining/feeding numbers larger than the maximum allowable.

Smoking Policy

All of our units are non-smoking. To ensure the comfort and well-being of everyone, smoking and vaping of any substance are not permitted inside buildings or within 50 feet of multi-unit dwellings, except in clearly marked designated areas.

In keeping with our commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests and staff, we kindly ask that guests follow our marijuana use policy:

  • Marijuana use is not permitted in any indoor areas, including guest rooms, lobbies, restaurants, and other enclosed spaces.

  • Designated outdoor areas may be available for marijuana use. Guests are encouraged to ask at the front desk for the locations of these spaces.

  • We ask that guests be mindful of others and avoid any activity—smoking or otherwise—that could disrupt the comfort of those around them.

This policy applies to all guests, regardless of the laws in other regions. We ask everyone to familiarize themselves with our guidelines to help maintain a peaceful, respectful resort experience.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us create a welcoming atmosphere for all.

Cleaning Charges: We allow a certain amount of time for the cleaning of each unit. Should we be required to clean your unit for longer than the time allotted, you will be charged for the additional cleaning.

Damaged or missing items in rental units and on property will result in charges for compensation including labour.

Late Night Noise: Please be respectful of your neighbours. All music and boisterous behaviour must end at 11:00 pm.

Pets: During the summer as well as with events and group bookings we are pet free. During quieter times of year we welcome pets in paw friendly units, generally from November to April. Please inquire at time of booking as these units are limited. Local kennel information available.
